Semillero Efímero

Urban Installation | Built

The Semillero was an urban intervention located in the public park Alameda Central, just a few steps from the Palacio de Bellas Artes, in the heart of the Historic Center of Mexico City. The structure had proportions of 20 by 5 meters, built within a grid system using wooden frames, and wrapped in synthetic mesh of bright orange, contrasting with the predominant purple color of the jacaranda trees in the area. The goal was to design a space that would encourage interaction among its users, identifying the structure as an urban tool that would trigger playful situations through guided pathways and activities aimed at connecting the city with its inhabitants.
